SKINPEN

VIVACE RADIOFREQUENCY MICRONEEDLING

VIVACE is the newest generation of radio frequency microneedling and is FDA-cleared for your safety. This minimally-invasive treatment stimulates the natural production of collagen, with added benefit from the radio frequency. It is shown to be effective in alleviating facial wrinkles, fine lines, and tightening the face and neck. If you are looking for optimal results, look no further.

FAQ

  • We recommend stopping any topical retinoids 10 days prior to your appointment. We also want to make sure that you are using a 30+ SPF and have not used any self tanner on the areas being treated. If you exercise daily, make sure to work out before your procedure and be prepared to take it easy the next day as well. You don’t want to sweat after treatment.

  • You will be red when you leave the office. We will send you home with a soothing biocellulose mask that will help calm the redness as well. You will need to avoid the sun the day of (we don’t want to put anything into the microchannels we have created during the procedure), and by the next day, you can apply a mineral based sunscreen and clean makeup around the eyes. You may be a little red to pink on the second day.

  • Almost all of our patients notice results after the first treatment. Your skin will feel tight, glowy, and pores may be less noticeable as soon as 2 weeks after. For acne scarring, very large pores, fine lines and texture concerns, you will notice best results after 3 treatments, spaced 4-6 weeks apart.

  • Many patients book this service on a Thursday or Friday to have the weekend to be red to pink before returning for work. If you are a weekend warrior, Mondays work great as well! Just keep wearing that SPF to ensure the best results!
